If you give them a couple drops of Calmag, drop of grow nutes, drop of micro nutes, drop of bloom, in one gallon of water, every water and top dress with worm castings and compost manure you will never see a nitrogen deficiency. Add a drop or two of PK boosters in fourth week. Smooth sailing.

What is the difference if you treat it like inert coco? Just sterilize it, and reuse it as an inert medium. Add dolomite if needed. Most people who use it as a hydroponic medium ph's their feed anyways. The only real thing that you lose the he did not mention is the beneficial bactiera will expire. Use your own teas and you are golden. Also throw it away after a year or so as the peat will break down and become acidic. I don't see an issue re-using it a couple times.
